Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) by Robert C — 09 Jun 2013
It's no where near as bad as you think it is. Haley's alternate take on Freddy isn't exactly iconic, but it is memorable. The cinematography is excellent and the nightmare sequences are creepy and stylish.
It could have used a rewrite or two, there's too many jump scares, and it struggles to find it's own identity but for a contemporary horror remake you could do far worse.
