A not so bad remake. The gore is still there and at least they try to make it seem different the original one rather than copying each and ever scene from the original. The film also follows the original script of Wes Craven for to the identity and crimes of Freddy Kruger as a child molester rather than a child murderer, The ending is also fairly good, but somehow, it all lacks certain aspects of the original.
