Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) by Puffy B — 08 Jun 2012

This movie is a true horror classic. It begins with a young girl in a boiler room and she is running from a man with a knife glove. The sounds of sheeps,babies crying,and the mysterious man calling her name added to the creepyness of the opening of this great film. The anoes theme is done perfectly in every part you hear it.

Anyways the girl known as Tina wakes up from her nightmare when the maniac is about to kill her. We then hear the famous jump rope song sung by freddy's children that sing about him and announce his arrival. Soon we meet two other characters known as Nancy and Glen. We see that both Tina and Nancy have their own boyfriends. Tina's boyfriend is a latino badboy known as Rod Lane. Soon Tina asks Nancy and Glen over. Then when tina finally gets to sleep freddy goes after her. I liked how they had freddy have extremely long arms and I like how he presents one of his 1st line and one-liner "This is God".

Tina runs away from the maniac and soon she is cornered by the maniac and he kills her in one of the most awesome ways ever. Rod is blamed for Tina's murder and now Nancy is having nightmares of Freddy. One scene in springwood high is cool,because we see that freddy can morph into other things. How we find this out is Nancy runs into a hall moniter and we see his familiar red and green sweater. Then Nancy hears her name and she turns around and see's the girl with a scarred face and wearing freddy's glove.

I liked how this movie was going so far,seeing all this blood and seeing freddy in his prime made me become a true fan. Nancy has several other nightmares where she's in the bathtub,she wants Glen to wake her up. We later find out who Freddy Krueger is. The movie ends with awesome ending and freddy's killing spree is just beginning.

Seriously you should definetly buy this movie.
