Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) by Goshavip222 G — 26 Dec 2012
This film, directed by Wes Craven in his time became legendary, managing to celebrate Freddy Krueger as one of the most memorable characters in horror films of all time. "Nightmare on Elm Street" was, in fact, a cult, raised a record amount of money in the global box office, and managed to bring the studio «New Line Cinema» of the crisis. And all thanks to our beloved Freddie ...
A group of teenagers in the fictional American town of dreaming the same dreams in which one of them for the chase-prestrashny terrible man with a burnt face in a striped sweater with blades on his hands instead of nails. And everything is good (you never know who has nightmares), so only one day murder that happened in a dream, the bloodiest way happens in reality. The main heroine Nancy decides to find out what happened to her friend (who was killed), and as a result, goes on the trail of a Fred Krueger, a sinister psychopath-Infanticide.
The script of this film Wes Craven wrote when I read in the newspaper about a group of teenagers who dreamed terrible dreams so that they refused to sleep, and as a result died. Craven was able to take off on the basis of this very fruitful history of entertaining, bloody and frightening horror creeps up with a theme, as the time was not been eliminated yet.
But when I came out a remake of the original film, in fact, turned out to be a pale copy of its ancestor, the old "nightmare" I fell in love even more. Not heal, leaving no residue and bad at the same time, leading into a pleasant stupor from ending slasher, who without any fear with a smile on your face you want to review again and again.
