Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) by Ifiok O — 26 Nov 2014
It goes without saying, but Wes Craven's 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' truly is a horror masterpiece. It still remains as one of the single greatest slasher movies ever to appear from the 1980s, having a brilliant premise that explores the fears which lie within our subconscious, and the supernatural force that exploits these fears once it enters our dreams.
Freddy is hands down the most iconic of slasher movie villains, sporting a very striking appearance and possessing a sinister sense of humor that gave him overwhelming popularity that still continues even today.
