Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) by Ted W — 14 Jan 2017

Great not really horror these days but a classic film . When I watched this movie for the first time, this movie was not the best and how cheesy this movie is and the acting dialogue sucks and how these stores/ actresses say it is just bad.

I do like the concept of Freddy Krueger, a child murderer and parents going after him and killing him , it brings the tone that this movie isn't some kind of joke, the effects are a joke but not the story that the directors are trying to show and tell.

And did I mention Freddy Krueger can only appear in your dreams when your sleeping. I know it's cheesy but when this was produced and put in theaters, people were afraid of this movie, I know that in 2017 we have better effects and computer generated effects but you can't compare this to present day of making movies.

And people still remember the character of Freddy Krueger, one of the top horror icons of all time. Yes, the movie is cheesy but the concept of getting into your dreams and killing is is cool for a horror movie, not real life, it would suck if every time you go to bed Freddy is in your dreams trying to terrorize and kill you.

I will never forget don't fall asleep or he will come for you, iconic horror movie line.
