Review of A Night to Remember (1958) by Christopher G — 17 Jun 2007
This is what Titanic wanted to be. Haunting, well written, nowhere near the theatrics of Cameron's 'King of the World' moments. It is understated and allows the horror of the event to speak for itself.
Given that this was made in 1958, the special effects are astounding. My favorite film of the disaster genre.
