Review of A Night in Casablanca (1946) by Todd F — 19 Sep 2008
This has been called the last official Marx Romp. This has the feeling of A Day at the Races and this is for the best. It has been argued that the brothers look old here and that may be but they are definitely not any less sharp then in say Duck Soup or A Night at the Opera.
We also have wonderful moments with Sig Ruman and Lisette Verea. The final twenty minutes are pure Marx mayhem.
