Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Joe H — 08 Dec 2009
Come on, Marx Brothers; some of the greatest comedians ever. Except for Zeppo. He wasn't funny, he wasn't dramatically gifted, and as far as I can tell, didn't have a personality. Why did they let him into their movies?
Such a great comedy classic. The contract scene is absolutely brilliant, along with countless others. Just watch it, love it, and for the love of God, give this movie to someone under the age of 25. They just don't seem to know who the Marx Brothers are. I don't get it.
