Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Joe L — 17 Dec 2008
More fun from the marx brothers, though I prefer 'duck soup.' some inventive gags throughout though, such as the tiny room, and the final chase sequence through a theatre, with inappropriate backdrops falling into the opera-in-progress.
occasionally bursts into truly random song, which feels tacked on because movies now had sound and thus they must also have singing. the songs in 'duck soup' feel more organic to the storytelling.
