Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by M D — 05 May 2009
The Marx brothers deliver yet again with one of their most acclaimed films. Fantastic routines and classic one-liners delivered non-stop within a plot that is wholly excusable and only gets in the way of getting out more jokes.
The presence of the Marx as one of the best comedic entities in existence is only supported by this film; a comedy that stands out and stands up against the test of time.
