Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by John S — 04 Feb 2012
Slightly more coherent than Duck Soup (but not as funny) but still not very narratively enticing, A Night At The Opera is still a rip-snorting good time with some surprisingly good musical numbers (the tender harpo and chico music scene is heart-wrenching).
Even though there aren't as many moments of eye-watering hilarity, the Marx bros are always amusing no matter what they're doing.
