Review of A Murder of Crows (1999) by Jeremy W — 13 Jan 2010
Blah.... that is how I feel about this unoriginal semi-predictable crime mystery murder. The acting was average the story was well written but boring. I was not impressed with nearly anything from this film. I kept stopping it to do something else because it would not keep my interest for more than 20 minutes. The only thing I enjoyed was some of the music which doesn't say much when I am a music lover at heart.
Cuba Gooding Jr. is a framed ex-lawyer who stops at nothing to prove his innocence. It starts with him in a cell and does a rewind to how he got there. While on trial as a defensive attorney he flips out and ends up loosing his license. He is then approached by an older gentleman while doing fishing trips in Florida and given something. When the man dies he becomes wrapped up in a runaway train (so the saying goes) that cannot be stopped. He is left with few options but to fix all the mistakes and hope for the best.
There is not much else to state but to not waste you time on this one like I did. It has all been done before much better than this one like it will be done again and again.
