Review of A Most Wanted Man (2014) by Attilio D — 13 Sep 2014
This movie was a great way for Philip Seymour Hoffman to end on a high note. Hoffman's last (full) movie showcased a fantastic performance from him, as well as the other actors. Even though this was the kind of movie that could've had subtitles, and you spend 1 hour and 45 minutes yelling "Take the money!" at the screen.
The plot, while a bit complex at times, was still very interesting. Putting a real, (very real) life spin on the spy world. And I'm referring to...the end. I swear, I was awestruck for a solid 2 hours, trying to put together what I just witnessed.
If you are a true movie fan, you will too. If not, then you will be the kind of person who will be either bored out of their skull for 2 hours, or fall asleep, (like my friend who was with me.) Overall, a good spy thriller, with a final hoorah for Hoffman.
