Based on a John LeCarre novel, the story reveals the issues faced in handling terrorism suspects in a post 9/11 world. Philip Seymour Hoffman is great, as is Rachel McAdams with a German accent, but the story is linear with few highs and lows to keep us interested.
It's a Jason Bourne-type story without the action.
