Review of A Most Wanted Man (2014) by István B — 30 Aug 2014
Taut and rich, it has the pace of a much briefer movie and the visual economy of a beautiful one. The ending is harsh (and a little trite) in its cynicism, but there's a narrative richness here that levies the whole thing.
Obviously it's worth the price of admission for Phillip Seymour Hoffman who is wonderful here and complimented on all sides by a capable international cast.
