Review of A Most Wanted Man (2014) by Dave R — 10 Sep 2014
While watching the movie A Most Wanted Man, it's hard not to think about the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman. He is so good in this film. You can just tell he is totally invested in this spy character.
The accent, the way he carries himself, the voice inflections are all simply top notch. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets an Oscar nomination for this work. The cast here is really good, even with Rachel McAdams who is the weakest of all, and the writing I feel is top notch.
It's about 10-15 minutes too long, but I can live with it because the ending is so good. This movie is still showing in our area, go check it out, as it's one of the best of the year.
