Review of A Most Wanted Man (2014) by Ian T — 18 Sep 2014
Kind of plods along, but not very much interesting happens and when something does, it never quite draws the tension out.
Philip seymour hoffman is great but he's not really backed up by much in the script. Generally some of the acting and the accents weren't great.
Didnt quite understand the relationship between the lawyer and her client mainly because.
Issas character was never really shown. He just moped about. Rachel McAdams characterisation involved cycling a bike to show she was a lefty.
Also (spolier) I didn't buy idea of them anticipating Abdullah would, at the last minute, switch some of the money to a shipping company. They thought he might be doing this but I didnt quite understand how they knew he would do it or how everyone went along with this hunch despite much evidence.
