Man oh man what a dull concrete colored droning uneventful waste of a movie.

I mean concrete colored as in every single scene is dominated by drab dullness and visual blandness. But that doesn't hold a rainy afternoon's worth of dullness to the plot.

They introduce you to two successive potential bad guys. Neither, it turns out, is bad. The first they posit as positively angelic after deceiving you into thinking he 's some kind of Day of the Jackal terrorist. He wants to give ten million Euros away to charity. The second is merely selfish and scheming. He wants to skim a few of those Euros. The real bad guy (it is after all a movie about terrorists and bad guys and spying and cloak and dagger) well, the REAL bad guy is us and they don't reveal it until the very end and it is just another twist on that old psycho-leftist meme: the evil American.

Yup in the end the nasty evil American Satan abducts perfectly decent people in the name of anti-terrorism and sweeps them away ( presumably to Gitmo of some black site) while also lying and double dealing its allies and breaking its word and cheating. The poor innocent angelic sweetlings that we nasty Americans abduct off the streets of Hamburg are Muslims who, while having some minimal personality flaws, are anything but terrorists, but Muslims who know bad Muslims and who would have been successfully turned to work for the Western powers of good but for the unwanted intervention of the evil Americans.

And that's all the movie was about. Evil Americans. Shame on us.

Don't waste your money or time. The movie is noting but poisonous propaganda for the psycho-left.
