Review of A Most Wanted Man (2014) by Denis M — 12 Sep 2014
I can't stand films that seem to think that they're too good to have an ending. This is the case with A Most Wanted Man. A film that feels deprived of emotion, an identity or even a captivating plot.
Hoffman's performance is strong, as you would expect, much like Dafoe, but the rest of the movie falls flat especially when it reaches it's invisible climax which makes the the last 127 minutes feel as if it was a waste of time.
A big disappointment to me, but at least Hoffman ended strong.
