The first time I saw Philip Seymour Hoffman was in Scent Of A Woman, but it was in Twister in which I thought he really stood out, even for a supporting role. He just doesn't just play a character; he *becomes* that character.
This was no different for A Most Wanted Man, one of his last films. Another fine actor gone.
