A very compelling story about a little guy who in spite of every effort to be honest and noble, to work hard and to do what is right to achieve success and respect, cannot avoid corruption. The evils of power and greed are interwoven into the very fabric of our capitalistic society.

Evil always seems to win in the end but in this movie it's a but satisfying to know the good guy prevails.
