Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Eduardo C — 30 Jan 2015
Suave, debonair brilliant businessman tries to keep his business afloat despite intense strains and pressures from all sides. His main problem is his business is under siege from gangsters who continually attack his employees and steal his trucks.
Can he succeed ? How can he? Can he save his family also? The role of Oscar Isaac kept reminding me of Michael Corleone, even though he is trying his best to avoid going the gangster route. A gripping and smashing film.
