Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Johnny K — 12 Apr 2015
Due to an unstable ending reveal and resolution, as well as some sluggish pacing, A Most Violent Year is a most disappointing film, but it is still objectively good with the help of some solid performances (Most notably from Oscar Isaac in typically fine form), a well-written screenplay, and good productions values.
Verdict: B-.
