Very slow pace and calm, maybe it's because Abel (Oscar Isaac) character, how he handle all the problems faced by his business in a most difficult time of year. He wants to run his business with honesty and appropriately (without corruption, violence, etc) which I admire throughout the film.
Oh well he's handsome too ;D.
