Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Tor M — 20 May 2015
A pretty hyped film about some gangster'ish guy and his problems. Of course there are money issues here, but there are few thrilling or action based scenes.
The main character seem like an all right guy. We get some surprizes, but this is a film with a long build up. It's not boring even if there are few big moments here. It's long but it goes on smoothly. It looks good, but the graff around the city seem a bit too modern in older NY-settings.
Ok gangster-vibed flick, but not something unmissable.
6 out of 10 guns.
