Very slow start. Great character development for protagonist and his wife. Interesting movie but definitely NOT the gangster movie we were hyped up for and found it more to be a story about how a gangster came to be that way.

Poorly lit scenes - felt hard to watch for lack of light or color. Jessica Chastain was pretty amazing and same with buddy who played the lead character (sorry forget the name right now of actor & character! & too late at night to be looking it up lol) all in all It is the type of movie I can seriously respect for the work went into it but wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a true gangster type film.
