Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Misterewan A — 07 Nov 2015

Really disappointing. For the first hour I thought it was good; a slow-build type of film. Big on atmosphere and quite a loose feel to it. But I was expecting a big finale or a final act that shifts up in the action or in terms of the character arc.

But almost two hours later. Nope. It just ends with a tacked on "shocking" ending. I felt cheated. A very very big let down of a film.
