Review of A Monster Calls (2016) by Robert C — 04 Jan 2017
Mainly went to see this as it's directed by the guy who is doing the next Jurassic World and I'm pleased to say this has some of the best direction I've seen in 5-10 years. Taken on visuals alone this movie is a piece of art, add a stellar story, some excellent effects, brilliant performances from the leads (minus Weaver who is a hit out of place).
..add LOTS OF CRYING...and you're left with a stunning piece of cinema.
