Review of A Monster Calls (2016) by Andrew K — 09 Jan 2017
I was not convinced by this film. I was really bought in to the son struggling with his feelings about his dying mother and what was to come, and I can understand that his fantasies and his drawing linked him to his mother, but the walking, talking tree left me cold and confused.
In summary, I was not taken by Liam Neeson's tree.
