A captivating story told brilliantly through beautiful cinematography, breathtaking visual effects, and incredible performances. A Monster Calls combines the heartbreaking reality of losing a mother with the element of fantasy in a creative way and that is the essence of the film's undeniable success.
I enjoyed it immensely and look forward to seeing Lewis MacDougall in more roles after witnessing what a splendid actor he is.
