This is an amazing example of low fantasy. The cinematics are well done, the art is gorgeous, the acting is impeccable, and the writing is fantastic. There wasn't a dry eye by the end in my house, nor were there any fidgety limbs from bored children.
It's the right balance of somber, introspective dialogue and heart thumping action. We loved it and can't forgive ourselves for missing it in the cinema.
