Review of A Monster Calls (2016) by Gregory M — 14 May 2017
The book ruined me, it brought so many emotions and the movie managed to deliver some of them but it mostly dried out the book. By the end though the whole essense of the story was there. The cast is spectacular.
The little protagonist is a revelation of acting, his scenes were all amazing! It was true to the book and it was simply heartbreaking. I cried a river,it was so good.
