Review of A Monster Calls (2016) by Jeanne Kaplan for Kaplan vs. Kaplan — 06 Jan 2017
Despite the outstanding performances and visuals, "A Monster Calls" is seriously too dark to be entertaining. It's much too traumatizing for children, and I don't know why adults would choose to see it, either.
