Review of A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) by Dagirls — 28 Jun 2014
I thought this was a film that snuck up on you and grew on you as it unfolded. I wasn't expecting much from it but I thought it was kind of hilarious in places and exposed a real taboo-ya don't say things suck when they do-which is a good taboo to explore even if it is just in the context of a comedy set in the old west.
I have always thought that life in the old west must have been not wonderful much of the time but I've never heard anyone else say that except in this movie. Good marks for effort even if it didn't all work perfectly.
Like to see more films like this. if things are crappy at least you can laugh at them is a good attitude to take. Good sight gags also.
