Once again the western audience loses out again because their limitations on understanding irreverent humor. There were sight gags, gross outs, cheap gags, and some great satire on advancement of technology and human society.
People who though there was no reflection of our own society in that backwards society missed out a major point. What more can you expect when the majority thinks comedy from crappy TV sitcoms like Bib Bang Theory are funny.
