Review of A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) by Thefilmfanatic — 02 Nov 2014
A Million Ways To Die In The West attempts to do what Mel Brooks did with Blazing Saddles, create a pastiche film that honours the iconic Westerns that he idolized. Sadly this film is a half-ass attempt at a pastiche.
It is quite evident Seth MacFarlane is a fan of Westerns given his references to the great films of the past however his humour creates a lacklustre and albeit apathetic plot.
