One of Christopher Guest's very best, in part due to the performances of Cahterine O'Hara and Eugene Levy. You can always depend on both of these actors for their consistently excellent work, but the pair are at the top of their game as the former romantic folk-singing duo Mitch & Mickey.
Their nuanced and sensitive portrayals of the bittersweet ex-couple are the emotional center of the film. Levy and O'Hara have a wonderful chemistry.
