My favorite Christopher Guest "mockumentary." Yes, I know he hates the term. Regardless, the folk music and the characters in this film are so spot on that you never question if they are folk musicians are not.
That's why Guest's movies succeed. The characters are so authentic and genuine that it gives the movie a head start in terms of enjoyment. Everything else that follows is a bonus.
