Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Frank A — 30 Aug 2007
Having gone to St. Thomas More Elementary School, and also having a lawyer for a dad, and being a pivotal English saint known for his stand for his conscience makes this movie deeply resonant for me.
Terrific acting from a young/smarmy John Hurt, a fat Orson Wells, and a younger Rumple The Bailey as a Renaissance barrister...just a "movie for all seasons!" Gufaw! (slaps knee).
