Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Brenton A — 20 Jun 2011
Very quickly, this is a movie where you can say everything is way beyond a cinematic masterpiece. I can't find any other great film from 1966 but this one. It won the Oscar for best picture, actor, and director, so is it overhyped? No! It is the quality and the value of the film that works here that we almost think it is not an interesting one.
And rather saying a very uninteresting picture, it could be called a film that is stellar and convincing but not to be a favorite one.
