Review of A Man Apart (2003) by Kyle W — 19 Jul 2008
As a drama it's below average, as a revenge flick it is above average. It has a good emotional resonance, even though half the things that go down in the plot can bee seen a mile off, sometimes a predictable plot can be refreshing, this is one of those rare occasions.
I'm pretty sure Diesel is worth more merit than the film itself, He truly carries the film, and raises it from what would have been a real turd, as it stands a B-movie this is.
