Review of A Long Way Down (2014) by Matt T — 23 Mar 2014
A Long Way Down is a watchable drama, based on the Nick Hornby novel. The premise though is based on a coincidence where four strangers decide to commit suicide by jumping off of the same roof, on the same night.
I think that this coincidence is what makes the film as a whole hard to swallow. Brosnan and Collette are of course great, Poots is, as usual - quirky, to the point of being annoying, and Paul convinces that he is making the transition to the big screen successfully.
On the whole, A Long Way Down is watchable, but forgettable.
