Review of A Lonely Place to Die (2011) by Jay S — 21 Jun 2012
Absolute drivel, and patronizing to Scotland may I add, of a film and an utter waste of my time.
A bunch of no job on the dole wankers decide to uncover a mysterious box ( from which they hear a little girl's voice) in the woods somewhere in the woodlands of Scotland. So as normal average people would, they decide to uncover the box and rescue the girl.
One by one, they are hunted down by the kidnappers. One survives the joke of the ordeal. And the girl of course.
To be honest, I wish all of them perished. That way the movie would be done in 20 minutes and not piss me off so much.
The makers must really think Scotland is a shite hole with no Coppers in the beat. No firemen. And everyone have 'dunce' written on their foreheads.
Goes to say, I am absolutely pissed off with this and I am not even Scottish.
Watch something better. Don't understand how this got 70 odd percent.
