Review of A Lonely Place to Die (2011) by Lee R — 20 Apr 2013
The initial premise of this movie works quite well. A group of rock-climbers come across a kidnapped girl buried in the ground and try to rescue her whilst being pursued across the Scottish Highlands. Once the back story of the girl's parents becomes clear and more and more baddies and guns are thrown into the mix it does however become a bit more ridiculous.
It's still a decent enough thriller though overall, perfect for a Friday night in.
