Review of A Little Trip to Heaven (2005) by Ingela Z — 06 Jan 2011
This is more noir than many people realize. It's missing the "hard boiled" parts, but has the photography and low-key acting that makes it magnetic to watch. Iceland provides a great starkness.
The writing allows you to figure out the gag easily, but not all the plot points, which is nice - I can't stand the films where you can predict the final five minutes in the first five minutes.
