You know what? This movie is amazing. It is by far the absolute best movie out there for little girls and enjoyable for the rest of the family as well. The beautiful story loosely based on Burnett's novel is touching and inspiring.
The acting isn't the best ever, but the camerawork, including some truly gorgeous shots in India, the academy-award nominated sets, and the superb yet subtly creative soundtrack by Patrick Doyle really set this film apart in the genre of kid's movies.
