Love love love. I can't say enough about this film. Alfonso Cuaron infected me at a very young age with the darkly beautiful world he created for a young girl named sarah. It's tragic and darker than you would expect.
Even today it seems more fantastical yet more real to me than anything I ever watched growing up. It's truly beautiful. And I'm sure it's what made me want to make films.
