Review of A Little Princess (1995) by Ryan R — 12 Nov 2009
There are many versions of this classic Francis Hodgson Burnett story available, and this is the only one worth watching. The story is transplanted to New York City, and the events of the book are interspersed with the fantastic, color-saturated stories that Sara tells.
While events are not true to the text, this story is ultimately magical in a way that only film can achieve.
