Review of A Little Princess (1995) by April V — 20 Feb 2013

Do I need to express how much I have loved this movie since I first saw it in theaters? I don't think so, but I will. I think the movie is even better than the book. I like the settings; they're just very aesthetically pleasing (even when dark and gloomy) and the child actors do a pretty good job with the emotions they are conveying.

Also, come on, if you have a soul... It appeals to that childlike hope for a happy ending after massive amounts of tragedy.
